Job Description– Stellar Industries, Inc. Job purpose: Assemble Mechanic/ Farm Fleet trucks or other work as directed by Lead Person or Supervisor. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

PUSH/PULL Position requires being able to push/pull 2 and 4 wheel carts weighing approx. 200#. CROUCHING/SQUATING/KNEELING Putting on hoses and other assembly functions will require crouching, squatting, and kneeling.
BALANCE Good balance is required to do many of the assembly functions. CRAWLING Job duties may require a minimum amount of crawling. REACHING Position requires reaching approximately 3’ while handling equipment and parts that may weigh approximately 10#. GRASPING/HANDLING Grasping and pinching is required to operate all equipment necessary to perform job functions. Good hand dexterity is required to move hands into different positions. VISION Good vision is required for reading blue prints and welding. TASTE/SMELL Taste or smelling to help detect if something is burning or possibly leaking. HEARING Being able to hear instructions is an important part of the job. NOTE: The Company has a program for supplying required safety equipment. Manage EMC NAS storage device. Provide backup administration for Fourth Shift MRP system. Manage security solutions, including firewall/VPN, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems. Manage WSUS service to maintain congruency throughout facility. Provide backup administration for IIS servers. Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Ensure network connectivity of all workstations. Administer all equipment, hardware and software upgrades. Assist IT Manager in network design and capacity planning. Assist IT Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Perform system backups and recovery. Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team. Other duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements College diploma or university degree/military training in an IT field and/or a combination of 5 years equivalent work experience desired. High School Degree or GED required. Confidentiality is a must as access to sensitive information will occur. Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Server 2003/2008, MS Exchange 2003, and Windows XP/7. Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including subnetting, NAT, and network troubleshooting. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Highly self motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Valid driver’s license. Must live within 15 minute radius of Garner.
Work Conditions Ability to work non-conventional hours. Normal hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and as needed with on call duties in a rotation time frame. Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components. Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings. Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, up to 45 lbs., such as computers and peripherals.
