Watch: Work Truck Magazine Takes You Inside Stellar Manufacturing
11.19.25
If you’ve ever been around Stellar® products, you’re aware of the efficient designs, high-quality materials and precision construction. You may even be aware of Stellar’s dedicated team of employee-owners. But have you ever wondered what kind of equipment is used in our manufacturing facilities?
We’ve invested a lot to ensure our Midwest sites are world-class. We could tell you how great our equipment and processes are, but fortunately you don’t have to take our word for it. We recently had the opportunity to host Wayne Parham, Managing Editor of Work Truck Magazine, at our Garner, Iowa, facility. He captured an exclusive look at our operations in a three-part video series, and we invite you to come along on the tour.
To start, go behind the scenes for a look at the equipment used in our manufacturing process.
Trusted American Manufacturing
While some other manufacturers in the industry are owned by foreign companies, Stellar is not only a fully American company but also 100% employee-owned. With the 2024 acquisition of Elliot Machine Works, Stellar added to its service truck offering and bolstered its commitment to supporting rural American manufacturing. Parham was able to see the care put into every mechanic truck, service crane, tire truck and more.
Viewing the 2025 TMAX™ Mechanic Truck
The tour gave Work Truck Magazine a closer look at the updated TMAX Mechanic Truck. The enhanced design includes integrated mounting rails within compartments to enable fully customizable setups, pass-through slots between compartments for easy wiring installation, a top-mounted filter on the hydraulic reservoir for simplified maintenance, and more.
Tim Worman, our Director of Product Management and Inside Sales, gave Parham a complete walkaround of the updated TMAX design and possibilities. Take a look as he covers the many features and benefits.
Crane Operation Tips
Because Work Truck Magazine’s audience includes a wide range of readers from construction, service, distribution, utility, telecom, energy, retail, agricultural, mining, refuse, manufacturing and government operations, Parham was interested in ways to help their readers get the most from their cranes.
In this video, featuring Stellar’s popular 8630 Service Crane, Parham shares some of the insights he gained during the tour.
Stellar Service Cranes are designed to provide safe and dependable service for a variety of operations. Safety should always be top of mind for every operator, so along with the tips provided by Parham, we recommend that everyone using a service crane review the Operation & Maintenance Manual that comes with your crane.
