Meet Your Customer Service Management
Nick Anderson – Customer Service Manager
Nick was born and raised in Forest City, IA and now lives in Clear Lake, IA. He joined the customer service team in 2014 as a Technical Service Representative and in 2018 took over the role as the Customer Service Manager. In his current role, Nick works to build and maintain a strong customer service team so Stellar can continue to provide industry leading support to its customers. After high school he attended NIACC for both automotive repair and business/finance. Since graduating, Nick has held positions in the customer support field in the automotive and agricultural industry. In his free time Nick enjoys hunting, boating, kayaking, snowmobiling, riding ATV’s and working on anything with an engine.
Al Kuhlman – Assistant Customer Service Manager
Al was raised in Garner, IA where he currently resides with his girlfriend, daughter, son, and a set of twin boys on the way! He started at Stellar in 2006 in Truck Prep. Throughout the years he has also held positions in Installation, Weld, Customer Service Tech, Assistant Product Manager, and Inside Sales before taking the title of Assistant Customer Service Manager. He enjoys the environment at Stellar and being an employee owner. “The culture is number one for me. I work with a great group of people!”
He attended Waldorf University where he was on the wrestling team. Al is also a volunteer firefighter and currently serving as the Secretary. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, working out, watching NCAA and USA wrestling, and spending time with his family.
Meet Your Customer Service Representatives
Gerald Nedved – Gerald has been part of the Stellar customer service department for over 10 years. He has over 40 years in the truck equipment business, making him a great reference to the industry. Even with all his experience, he still finds himself learning something every day, which is part of what Gerald loves most about his job.
Born a local North Iowa farm boy, he and his wife Pat have raised 4 children in Garner, IA. They are scattered across the United States in places such as Orlando, FL; Madison, WI; Des Moines, IA and right here in Garner,IA. In Gerald’s spare time, he enjoys being in the great outdoors, watching local and Iowa college sports, NASCAR, Twins baseball, and yes, he’s even a Vikings fan.
Frank Marshall – Frank was born and raised in Garner, IA and now resides in rural Klemme, IA with his wife and two boys. Like most residents in the area, he comes from an agriculture background which has had a large impact on his mechanical abilities and communication skills. He has experience in electric motor repair, rebuilding, machining, lathes, and of course repairing and diagnosing OTR and mechanic cranes. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and turning wrenches on anything he can get his hands on.
Dillon Bauer – Dillon was born and raised in Garner, IA. After high school he attended NIACC and received degrees in Ag Sales and Service and Ag Operation Management. Before he joined Stellar Industries, he worked in the Agriculture field at AgVantage FS where he was a customer service specialist for 3 years. Dillon joined the Stellar family in 2011, working in service crane assembly and was excited to join the customer service team in 2016 “with assisting our customers in any way possible”. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching sports, especially the Iowa State Cyclones.
Seth Townsend – Seth was born and raised in Garner, IA. He and his wife Tiffany live now live in Clear Lake with their two dogs and a cat. When he was 14 he was sub-contracted by Stellar Ind. to build FLR’s and air tank drain valves out of his parent’s garage. When he turned 16 he started working at Stellar after school part time.
After High School Seth attended NIACC where he received a degree in Automotive Technology. Wanting to use his degree, at the age of 19 he left Stellar to work at Line-X in Mason City where he worked for 10.5 years. In his time spent at Line-X he eventually became General Manager which involved much customer service and sales.
Looking to work for a larger company that is constantly growing and taking care of its employees, he came back to Stellar Ind. in 2018 to work in the Customer Service Dept.
In Seth’s spare time he enjoys building and fabricating things out of wood and metal, farming, watching Packer football, and traveling to various places cheering his wife on as she runs marathons.
Meet Your Warranty Service Representatives
Lisa Piklapp – A die-hard football fan and a die-hard Stellar employee, Lisa has been with Stellar for 20 years. She’s responsible for handling all warranty claims and return goods. She loves working with the Stellar customers and getting to know them and their businesses. She also enjoys working with a great group of people. Besides watching the Minnesota Vikings, in her free time, Lisa loves to spend time with her daughter and granddaughter.
Melody Benson – Melody was born and raised in Osage, Iowa, and now lives in Clear Lake, Iowa. She previously worked in manufacturing for 19 years in various positions. Melody will be handling warranty claims and return goods. In her free time, Melody enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and boating.
Meet Your Parts Order Representatives
Will Hendrikson – Will was born and raised in Clear Lake, IA where he graduated high school. In 2007 Will and his wife Holly moved to Ventura, IA where they now reside with their two boys. Will came to Stellar in 2016 with many years of customer service experience, previously as a Service Advisor at a local GMC dealership. Will enjoys the day to day challenges of making sure the customer is always taken care of and finds that he learns something new every day. In his free time Will enjoys spending time on the lake with his family, golfing, fishing, camping, and just spending time outdoors. Will is also a big Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys going to Iowa City in the fall to attend college football games with his family.
Monica Overgaard – Monica is responsible for parts sales order entry and helping answer questions for the Stellar distribution network and end user customers. Previously Monica was the office manager as Aspen Hills and a financial assistant for Nortech. She is a NIACC graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Business. She resides in Klemme with her husband Ryan, and their daughter. She enjoys golfing, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclone’s and spending time with family and friends.
Kelly Weiland – Kelly joined the customer service department in 2014 as a Technical Representative. He provides technical assistance and helps you with any questions, warranty claims, and parts orders you may have about Stellar products. Previously, Kelly was the general manager of Howard Enterprises, Inc., a wholesaler of aftermarket diesel engine parts for 18 years. He lives in Klemme with his wife Deb, and they have two children. Kelly enjoys being outdoors, hunting, and restoring and riding vintage motorcycles.
Ashley Brones – Ashley joined Stellar’s Customer Service team as a Parts Specialist in May 2019. “I enjoy the challenge of my job; it always keeps me busy.”
She grew up in Crystal Lake and currently resides in Forest City with her husband, 4 kids and 3 dogs. In her free time, Ashley likes to watch her kids in sports, kayak, travel with her family, hangout with friends, and watch football on the weekends.
