Experienced and Knowledgeable
When you contact Stellar, you don’t have to worry about dealing with someone at a random call center who doesn’t know the difference between a hooklift and a mechanic truck. Everyone in Stellar’s customer service department is trained by Stellar and can also draw on the experience of the entire Stellar team. As Customer Service Manager Nick Anderson puts it, “We do everything that we can to provide a positive experience. We listen to understand the customer’s need or situation, then we provide quick, accurate answers and follow up by getting the parts or whatever the customer requires out as fast as possible.”

In addition to stocking a wide range of common parts in the new Parts Distribution Center for quick shipping, Stellar also has a nationwide network of authorized distributors who help with local service and parts. “Uptime is everything for our customers,” notes Anderson. “Time truly is money for them. So we do all we can to minimize disruptions and help them get back on the job.”

Other than corrosion and weight savings, why go aluminum?
Customization is made easy on all TMAX™ Aluminum Mechanic Bodies because of an extruded aluminum mounting rail on top of the sidepacks. The mounting rail makes it easy to add accessories like crane boom supports, air compressors, tool storage and more. Operators are able to move or add equipment on top of the sidepack without drilling into the compartments, so there’s no worry about water getting in.

Will the aluminum hold up?
Count on it. Our aluminum bodies utilize aluminum in the ideal areas for weight savings and corrosion protection (sidepacks and doors) while adding steel support where extra strength may be needed, such as the load bed, crane box, torsion box and bumper. The result is high strength with reduced weight for added payload. Review our aluminum vs. steel comparison for more details.
