Responsibilities

This Production Control role will involve supporting production planning, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a passion for operational efficiency.

  • Assist in creating production schedules and work orders based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Monitor production progress and provide regular updates to the production team.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve any production-related issues, such as material shortages or equipment malfunctions, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic inventory audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
  • Assist in analyzing production data, such as yield rates, cycle times, and quality metrics, to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting process optimization measures.
  • Assist in generating reports related to production activities and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in operations management or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of production planning, inventory management, and production control concepts.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
