Maintenance – Summer Position 2026

Summary: While working a summer position for the Maintenance Department, you will assist with preventive maintenance tasks, groundskeeping and supporting our maintenance team with day-to-day activities.

Potential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general landscape upkeep.

• Assist with painting projects such as surface preparation, priming, and applying paint to buildings, equipment, and other structures.

• Support maintenance staff with routine repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment.

• Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.

• Continually demonstrates a productive and non-disruptive work ethic.

• Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies.

• Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Works well as team member

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions and an industrial environment

• Willingness to learn and take direction from team members

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus, but not required

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Have mechanical skills
