Stellar HPS shown as a Next Level Finalist for 2026

Las Vegas, Nevada — Stellar Industries, a 100% employee-owned and -operated manufacturer of high-quality work trucks, trailers and service truck and van accessories, is excited to announce its Hybrid Power Source (HPS) has been selected as a finalist for the CONEXPO-CON/AGG Next Level Awards. This awards program honors outstanding achievement and breakthroughs in the construction industry, with submissions judged on innovation, application, engineering, scalability and impact. This recognition places Stellar among the most innovative leaders in the field, underscoring its impact in the industry and dedication to moving it forward. The Stellar® HPS is one of 10 finalists in the equipment category. These 10 finalists will compete for the most attendee votes during CONEXPO-CON/AGG, March 3 – 7, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“It’s truly an honor to be named a finalist for this award,” said Tim Davison, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Stellar. “Our team works hard to bring the needs of our customers to life — and that’s exactly what the HPS stands for. “CONEXPO-CON/AGG is committed to celebrating innovation and recognizing those companies that are shaping the future of our industry,” said Dana Wuesthoff, CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Director. “Being named a finalist for the Next Level Awards is a testament to the hard work, creativity and excellence that organizations like Stellar bring to our sector. We look forward to showcasing these outstanding achievements at the show.”

About the HPS

In 2025, the HPS earned an Equipment Today 2025 Contractors’ Top 50 New Products award and a Green Industry Pros Editor’s Choice Award. It’s a first in the service truck industry — a fully integrated, emission-free power system designed to redefine how technicians work. By combining automotive-grade lithium-ion technology with a modular hydraulic power system, the HPS delivers clean, reliable energy for hydraulic tools and equipment without relying on the chassis engine. It’s not just a battery. It’s a power system engineered for the next generation of work.

Innovation That Drives Change

The HPS transforms how service trucks deliver power. The system provides 100% emission-free, low-voltage energy to operate hydraulic tools, cranes, compressors and stabilizers quietly and efficiently on the jobsite. With anti-idle compliance and modular battery configurations, operators can choose the ideal setup for their runtime and performance needs.

When charging is required, the system automatically uses the truck’s alternator — even while driving to the next jobsite — or standard 120V connection to recharge, helping eliminate downtime while reducing fuel use and emissions.

Application That Spans Every Fleet

Designed to work seamlessly with both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) chassis, the HPS bridges the gap between today’s service trucks and tomorrow’s zero-emission fleets.

  • On ICE chassis, the HPS draws power from the engine for quick recharges, minimizing system size and cost.
  • On EV chassis, it functions independently as a standalone power source, supporting the shift to all-electric operations.

This flexibility makes HPS a future-ready solution adaptable to any powertrain or jobsite environment.

Engineering That Leads the Industry

Built on proven automotive-grade lithium-ion technology, the HPS provides up to 12.8 kWh of output and up to eight hours of runtime in the slimmest, lightest configuration in its class. The design incorporates integrated thermal protection for reliable performance in extreme climates and includes a heating system to maintain optimal charging temperatures in cold conditions.

At just 790 pounds, the self-contained system can be mounted in the load bed or side pack, making it an easy addition to any new build or retrofit. Internal flow and pressure control ensure consistent hydraulic performance equal to or greater than traditional power take-off (PTO) systems — without the noise, emissions or maintenance demands.

Scalability That Powers the Future

The modular battery design allows fleets to right-size power capacity based on operational needs, with configurations scalable across multiple vehicle types. Designed for integration with Stellar cranes, stabilizers and compressors, the HPS serves as a single, standardized power source — simplifying training, service and fleet management.

The Next Level of Work Truck Power

The Stellar Hybrid Power Source isn’t just an energy solution — it’s a reimagining of how work gets done. With its low-voltage design, unmatched flexibility and cleaner, quieter performance, the HPS delivers the future of service truck power — today.

On-Site Voting Details
