Garner, Iowa — Stellar, a 100% employee-owned and operated manufacturer of high-quality mechanic trucks and cranes, tire service trucks, hooklifts, roll-off & container trucks, utility & telecom trailers and service truck & van accessories, along with its employees, rallied to raise more than $18,000 for the United Way of North Central Iowa, exceeding their goal of $13,000. Stellar then matched the employees’ contributions for a grand total of $37,000 raised for United Way in 2022.

Stellar President David Zrostlik presented a $37,000 check in October to United Way of North Central Iowa Executive Director Jen Arends during a celebration at the company’s Garner headquarters. This donation is a continuation of Stellar’s ongoing commitment to corporate giving to help strengthen communities in North Iowa, Central Nebraska and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

“At Stellar, charitable giving is an opportunity to reinforce our purpose and our greater cause — beyond just products and services — and to serve the communities in which our employees live and work,” Zrostlik said.

“It’s our fellow associates who do the work that make our charitable giving program so successful. This couldn’t happen without their investment of time and resources,” Zrostlik said. “I’m extremely proud of their efforts. This contribution reflects their giving hearts and support of these great communities.”

Stellar focuses its corporate giving in the areas of communities, social services and education. The company currently operates facilities in Garner, Kanawha and Mason City, Iowa; Hastings, Nebraska; and Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

To be considered as a recipient of Stellar’s corporate giving efforts, applicants may complete and submit an online application form. A team at Stellar reviews donation request applications monthly. The application form and eligibility requirements can be found on our Charitable Giving page.
