MINExpo is the mining industry’s largest global event. Held every four years by the National Mining Association, it brings together the worldwide community of producers, manufacturers and suppliers. This year’s event took place in Las Vegas, and its “Innovation Lives Here” theme aligns perfectly with our forward-thinking approach.

As an American company recently honored with the President’s “E” Award for Exports in recognition of Stellar’s significant contributions to an increase in U.S. sales around the world, it was a joy to meet with customers and industry personnel from every continent. TMAX™ 3 Tandem Axle Now Available in Aluminum

Ready to gain 1,600 pounds of additional payload? At MINExpo, we unveiled a new aluminum option for the TMAX 3T Mechanic Truck (Tandem Axle). In addition to the corrosion-resistant properties of aluminum, this workhorse product is nearly 1,600 pounds lighter than the steel model. Check out this video from the event to see how that additional payload can be used to haul more equipment, tools and parts to maximize productivity.

Like all Stellar^® Mechanic Trucks, the TMAX 3 can be customized with a telescopic service crane and accessories so you can have your truck your way. At MINExpo, the TMAX 3 on display and in the video was equipped with a 14530 Hydraulic Service Crane featuring the advanced CDTpro™ Control System with Range Finder™ technology. It also included a toolbox system with industry-first bale-style pull handles, an LM200 Aluminum Lube Skid and a 46P Hydraulic Air Compressor.

The truck was so well received at the show that chassis manufacturer Kenworth highlighted the package in a #TruckTuesday social media feature.

Every Tire Technician’s Dream: TM16160/28000 Tire Truck

Also displayed at MINExpo was the TM16160/28000 OTR Tire Service Truck. For mining, construction and other equipment that uses massive tires, there’s no better choice for onsite tire service. It can handle tires ranging from 59/80/63 all the way up to the 58/80R57, making it perfect for all large ultra-class mines and quarries, from iron ore to copper and gold. The tire pads rotate 360 degrees and articulate 140 degrees, and the worm gear and pinion rotation system ensures rock-solid performance. Featuring an A-frame stabilizer design, it provides a powerful tire manipulator lifting capacity of 16,500 lbs at 15′ 4″.
