The prestigious award, presented by Rental Magazine, acknowledges outstanding products designed to enhance the efficiency of rental companies and their customers within the past year.

Rental Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Awards highlight the most cutting-edge and innovative products released in the rental industry between August 2022 and August 2023. These products play a crucial role in making rental companies and their customers more efficient, ultimately boosting their bottom lines.

The Stellar TMAX 1-13 Mechanic Truck has gained this accolade due to its exceptional design, catering to the specific needs of various industries. The Stellar TMAX 1-13 Aluminum Mechanic Truck is the latest addition to the TMAX Aluminum Mechanic Truck Series. Designed to address the diverse requirements of customers, the 13′ aluminum body offers additional compartment storage and is intended for a 108″ cab-to-axle chassis with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 22,000 to 22,900 lbs, including popular chassis models like the Ford F600 and Chevrolet 6500.

Similar to other TMAX 1 models, the TMAX 1-13 Aluminum Mechanic Truck is ideal for service cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 53,100 ft-lbs, like the Stellar 86 Series Service Crane. The TMAX Series incorporates the Stellar Torq-Isolator torsion box understructure and service crane compartment, which effectively channels the crane’s lifting forces into the stabilizers and chassis frame, preventing undue stress on the storage compartments and doors.

Key features of the TMAX Aluminum Mechanic Truck bodies include extrusion compartment tops with built-in accessory mounting rails. These rails simplify accessory installation and relocation, eliminating the need to drill holes in the compartment tops. Additionally, Stellar Aluminum Mechanic Truck bodies are known for their reduced weight in comparison to their steel counterparts, providing operators with increased payload capacity while offering superior corrosion resistance.
