It was a year of record-breaking traffic to the Stellar booth at NTEA Work Truck Week 2024 as the new innovations on display were a major draw. Our team always enjoys making customer connections, and we were proud to showcase a range of products, including TMAX™ Mechanic Trucks, a variety of service truck accessories, an NXT18 Hooklift, and a FuelMate^® 880MT Multi-Tank Fuel Trailer.

Committed to the Work Truck Industry

Stellar opened for business in 1990 and immediately joined NTEA. Throughout the decades since, members from Stellar have served on the NTEA board and Stellar has always viewed Work Truck Week as an essential event. As this video shows, we don’t just send a sales team to Work Truck Week. We send designers and engineers so they can meet with customers in order to ensure our equipment is meeting real-world needs. 

Getting a Handle on Productivity

Work Truck Week 2024 attendees were especially interested in the new, industry-first bale-style pull handles now available on Stellar^® Toolbox Systems. The latches activate from above or below thanks to the ergonomic dual-action design, giving technicians one-handed access from any angle — a great timesaver in the middle of a job. Along with easy access, the bale-style pull handles have key locks to keep out unwanted hands. The latch mechanism is also concealed for both added security and an attractive appearance. Like the drawer slides and all components in Stellar Toolbox Systems, the bale-style pull handles are all metal for years of durable performance on even the most demanding worksites. Working to Meet Demand

We are both proud and grateful that Stellar products are in high demand. While it was difficult to maintain inventory during the pandemic and the supply chain issues that came with it, we announced new processes during our 19^th annual distributor meeting that will greatly increase product availability. As noted when we launched our We Are Stellar initiative, we’re all in this together. We’ll continue to grow our inventory to serve our customers and distributors.

Tim Davison, Stellar’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is the latest Stellar team member to serve on the Board of Directors for NTEA – The Work Truck Association™, the hosts of Work Truck Week. NTEA represents more than 2,100 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial vehicles, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to NTEA. The Association provides in-depth technical information, education, and member programs and services.

Tim is highly focused on helping members navigate upcoming government regulations, ensuring distributor relevance to customers as they change their buying habits, and helping manufacturers break paradigms to design world-class products to help customers be more productive.
