This prestigious accolade, awarded by Construction Equipment magazine, serves as a testament to the innovative excellence of the TMAX 1-13 and Stellar’s unwavering commitment to advancing the field of mechanic trucks.

The highly versatile TMAX 1-13 Mechanic Truck has earned this recognition for its outstanding design, which is finely tuned to meet the unique demands of today’s construction professionals, offering a range of features and capabilities designed to enhance productivity and safety on the jobsite.

The Stellar TMAX 1-13 Aluminum Mechanic Truck represents the newest entry in the TMAX Aluminum Mechanic Truck Series. Designed to meet the varied needs of customers, the 13′ aluminum body provides extra compartment storage and is specifically tailored for a 108″ cab-to-axle chassis with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) ranging from 22,000 to 22,900 lbs, which includes well-known chassis models such as the Ford F600 and Chevrolet 6500.

Much like other TMAX 1 models, the TMAX 1-13 Aluminum Mechanic Truck is well suited for service cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 53,100 ft-lbs, such as the Stellar 86 Series Service Crane. The TMAX Series features the Stellar Torq-Isolator torsion box understructure and service crane compartment, skillfully redirecting the crane’s lifting forces into the stabilizers and chassis frame. This design reduces the risk of excessive strain on the storage compartments and doors.

Key attributes of the TMAX Aluminum Mechanic Truck bodies include extrusion compartment tops with integrated accessory mounting rails. These rails streamline the process of installing and repositioning accessories, eliminating the need to drill holes into the compartment tops. Furthermore, Stellar Aluminum Mechanic Truck bodies are recognized for their reduced weight in contrast to their steel counterparts. This feature not only increases payload capacity for operators but also delivers enhanced corrosion resistance.
