Whether maintaining Stellar’s facilities or creating memorable experiences through his family-owned business, Justin Boehmer brings the same dedication, creativity and commitment to everything he does. 

For over 14 years, Boehmer has been a dedicated member of Stellar’s maintenance department, working to ensure the company’s facilities and equipment operate efficiently. He takes pride in being part of a hardworking team that prioritizes preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly today while preparing for the future. 

Throughout his time at Stellar, Boehmer has witnessed the company’s tremendous growth and success, something he finds especially rewarding. “It still blows my mind to look back to when I started and compare Stellar’s growth and success to now,” he said. 

For Boehmer, one of the most fulfilling aspects of his role is finding innovative solutions to challenges and completing projects that help keep Stellar’s facilities running their best. Boehmer’s dedication and ownership mentality are not only seen through his work at Stellar, but also in the community. 

Outside of work, he and his family own and operate Festive Farmstead, a seasonal business that brings holiday excitement to the North Iowa community. What began as a fun idea to host Halloween events for family and friends quickly grew into a family-run business. 

This October marks Festive Farmstead’s third year welcoming the public with family-friendly and spooky hayrides, followed by a musical light show during the winter holiday season. For Boehmer, the opportunity to expand his family tradition, spread holiday joy, and provide the community with new and exciting activities made the decision to open to the public an easy one. 

As Boehmer looks toward the future, he is excited to continue contributing to Stellar’s growth while exploring new opportunities to expand Festive Farmstead and bring joy to the North Iowa community. His commitment to continuous improvement and making a positive impact both inside and outside Stellar showcases what it truly means to be a dedicated employee-owner and community member. “Being an employee owner is about working together and wanting the company to do well.”
