Engineering Project Manager
Summary: Plans and oversees projects relating to the development of new products or technologies to ensure they are completed on time and within scope, while providing timely follow-up and communication to key stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following:

• Coordinate activities regarding technical development, scheduling and resolving engineering and test problems.
• Manage the resources required to execute a project.
• Compile data and prepare reports related to research and testing of new and existing products.
• Assist in identifying and protecting intellectual property during development.
• Continuously promote and foster a culture of working safety.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as reasonably assigned and required.
• Provide guidance as requested or required towards resolving difficult problems.
• Promote a productive and non-disruptive work ethic within the company.
• Ensure all business requirements are met prior to production launch of new products.
• Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or project personnel.
• Develop or update project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing.

Preferred Experience:
• Three to five years of experience in Engineering and Project Management disciplines.
• ERP applications experience.
• Familiar with the automotive industry and truck upfitting.
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience.
• Hydraulic, electrical, and automotive experience.
• PMP certification or willingness to pursue.
Skills Required:
• Computer Proficient with the ability to work fluently with Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Knowledge of statistics is required with general numeracy, coupled with good interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Physical Requirements:
• Occasional lifting may be needed. Items not to exceed 50 lbs.
• Employee may be required to work indoors in a shop environment or outside in variable weather conditions.
Additional Requirements:
• Company sponsored continuing education may be required.
• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
• Valid driver’s license.
